What is EURAXESS?

EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion is a path to an attractive carrier in research across Europe that aims to retain and entice the best research talent.  Moreover, strengthening the cross-border mobility of researchers, EURAXESS provides researchers with better career structures and makes Europe the destination of their choice .

The European Research Area grants boundless opportunities for both researchers seeking to advance their carriers and personal development by moving to another European country and scientific organisations seeking to capture the outstanding talents.

 

EURAXESS Jobs is a stress- and cost-free recruitment tool, providing constantly updated information on job vacancies, financing opportunities and fellowships throughout Europe as well as CVs from top researchers from around the world. Researchers can post their CV online. A company or research institute can post job vacancies and search for CVs of international researchers.

All services are free of charge.

If you wish to search for job opportunities or information about living in another country, please visit the national EURAXESS portals in our 40 European partner countries and contact their EURAXESS Service Centres.

EURAXESS Services is a network of more than two hundred centers located in 40 European countries.

This is a free personalized service that matches the various matters researchers face when moving to, or living in a foreign country: Visas, Work permits, Accommodation, Legal issues, Social security, medical care and taxes, Family support, language lessons, etc. These centres assist researchers and their families to relocate to another country.

The cornerstone of EURAXESS Rights is the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, led by the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers.     

The Charter sets out the rights and duties of researchers, as well as research and funding institutions.

The Code aims at ensuring equal treatment of all researchers in Europe and increasing transparency in their recruitment. Full lists of organisations that have endorsed the Charter & Code are available on the European EURAXESS portal.

EURAXESS Links provides interactive web services to European researchers working abroad in order to keep them connected between themselves and with Europe.

EURAXESS Links is a networking tool that provides opportunities for better research career in Europe, for international collaboration and trans-national mobility towards the European Research Area. 

This service is operated by the USA, Japan, India, Brazil, China, etc.
